Vegan Fork Biscuits

These biscuits are a vegan version of a Mary Berry classic.  So easy to make, just 3 ingredients.  The kids will love joining in and within 30 minutes you will have light buttery tasting biscuits.


100 grams vegan margarine

50 grams caster sugar

150 grams self raising flour


Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, grease 2 baking trays.

Cream together the margarine and sugar.

Gradually incorporate the flour. You may have to mix the last bit by hand.  You will end up with a soft dough.

Divide the mixture into 16 walnut sized balls.  Place on 2 trays, spaced well apart.

Dip a fork into water and squash each biscuit down with it, creating grooves.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.  Cool on wire rack when done.  It really is as easy as that!
