Crispy Sweet Cinnamon Tortillas

This is fantastic sweet treat that is so easy to make. The end result is a pile of warm, crispy, chewy and cinnamony crackers. You can eat them on their own or with ice cream on the side.

Ingredients, serves 4
3 small tortillas cut into quarters
100/120ml of neutral tasting oil
3 tablespoons of caster sugar
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Ice-cream to serve


Mix together the sugar and cinnamon on a plate and put to one side.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the tortilla quarters a few at a time. Turn to fry each side. When the oil gets hot they can cook very quickly.
Once fried, place onto some kitchen roll to absorb the excess oil and crisp up.
Next, coat them in the sugar and cinnamon. They are ready to eat!
Serve with a dollop of ice-cream.
