This recipe is not only delicious but so easy to make and can be made without oil and gluten free! Perfect for when you need that kebab fix but also want something healthy.
1 tin of chickpeas, drained
1 onion roughly chopped
2 tablespoons of gram (chickpea) flour
1 cm of fresh ginger
Half a teaspoon of chilli powder
1 teaspoon of coriander powder
Half a teaspoon of garam masala
1 tablespoon of mint leaves
1 tablespoon of coriander leaves
Half a teaspoon of salt
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Whizz all ingredients up in a food processor. You want it to still have a coarse texture.
Lightly oil a baking tray. Ensure the mixture is fully mixed together. Form into 10 small patties by hand.
Bake in the oven for 40 minutes, turning once.
That’s it! Serve with flatbread or wrap of choice and whatever you usually like in a kebab. Mint sauce, onions, hummus, chilli sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, vegan yogurt – whatever you fancy! Truely delicious.
